Zapier MCP connects to Microsoft Copilot Studio as a tool integration, letting you build Copilot agents that can take action in your Zapier-connected apps.

Prerequisites

  • A Zapier MCP server. If you have not created one yet, follow Your first MCP workflow.
  • A Microsoft Copilot Studio account with permission to create or edit agents.

Connect Zapier MCP to Copilot Studio

1

Open the Connect tab

  1. Go to mcp.zapier.com and select your server.
  2. In the top menu bar, select the Connect tab.
  3. In the MCP Client dropdown, select Microsoft Copilot Studio.
2

Follow the setup instructions

The Connect tab will show you the steps to add Zapier MCP to your Copilot Studio agent. Follow them to complete the connection.
The setup instructions reference an ID field. In Copilot Studio, use the SessionID field rather than “AccountID.” If the instructions do not match what appears in Copilot Studio, check the latest steps on the Connect tab.
3

Confirm the connection

In your Copilot Studio agent, send a test message asking it to use a Zapier tool. If nothing appears, check Troubleshoot.
