This page shows how to connect Claude Cowork to Zapier MCP using the Zapier connector.

Before you begin

  • A Zapier account. You can create one when you sign in during setup, so there is no need to sign up first.
  • A Claude account on a paid plan. Cowork is on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise, not Free. It runs in your browser at claude.ai, in Claude Desktop for macOS and Windows, on mobile, and in the Chrome side panel, though availability varies by plan and surface. Check Anthropic’s Cowork documentation for the current list.
  • Team and Enterprise users: An Owner or Primary Owner must enable Zapier in Organization settings before anyone else can connect. Enabling it does not grant access on its own: each member still authenticates individually. Check the “Connect a service on Team and Enterprise plans” section of Anthropic’s connector documentation.
One Zapier connection covers Claude chat, Claude Desktop, and Claude Cowork, so if Zapier is already connected anywhere in Claude, you are done here: go straight to Set up your tools.
