Zapier MCP connects to Cursor through the Zapier plugin. Install the plugin from the Cursor marketplace, then paste a prompt into an Agent chat to finish setup.

Before you begin

  • A Zapier account.
  • Cursor installed and up to date. Some older versions have a known OAuth issue, so update Cursor before you start.

Install the Zapier plugin

Install the Zapier plugin from the Cursor marketplace.

Open the Cursor marketplace and install the Zapier plugin.

Paste the prompt into Cursor

Open a new Agent chat in Cursor, paste the prompt, and follow the instructions.When prompted, authenticate with your Zapier account.
Some versions of Cursor have an RFC 9728 OAuth issue that prevents authentication from completing. If authentication fails repeatedly, update Cursor to the latest version and try again.
