Zapier MCP connects to Linear as a custom MCP server. Add it from your agent personalization settings and paste the Zapier connect URL.

Connect Zapier MCP to Linear

Open agent personalization

In Linear, go to Settings → Agent personalization.

Add a custom MCP server

Click the + under MCP servers and select Custom URL…

Paste the URL

Paste the URL below to complete the connection:
When prompted, authenticate with your Zapier account.

Finish setup

In Linear, ask your agent:

Verify the connection

Ask Linear:
Linear should list the Zapier MCP tools. If tools do not appear, check Troubleshooting.

Try it out

After setup, ask Linear to do something with your connected apps:
  • “Find my last 5 emails and summarize them”
  • “What meetings do I have tomorrow?”
  • “Create a task in [app] to follow up with [name]”
  • “Send a Slack message to [channel] about [topic]“
