This page shows how to connect Zed to Zapier MCP as a remote MCP server.

Before you begin

Connect Zapier MCP to Zed

In Zed:

Open the Agent panel menu

In the Agent panel, open the three-dot menu and select Add server…

Add a remote server

In the settings window that opens, click + Add Server, then choose Add remote server.

Enter the Zapier server details

Enter the following values:
  • Server name: Zapier
  • URL: https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect
Leave Headers, Timeout, and OAuth Client ID blank.

Authenticate

Click Save, then authenticate with your Zapier account when prompted.
You’ve now connected Zapier MCP to Zed.
