Zapier MCP connects to Gemini CLI over OAuth. Add the server with one command, then log in from the CLI.

Before you begin

Connect Zapier MCP to Gemini CLI

1

Install Gemini CLI

If you have not installed it yet, follow the Gemini CLI installation guide.
2

Add the Zapier server

Run this command to add Zapier MCP:
gemini mcp add --scope user zapier https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect --type http
3

Start gemini and run /mcp auth zapier to log in with your Zapier account.
4

Verify the connection

In Gemini CLI, ask:
Run the Zapier onboarding skill using get_zapier_skill with name "zapier-mcp-onboarding" and follow its instructions.
Your agent lists the Zapier tools available to it. If nothing appears, check Troubleshoot.
