Zapier MCP connects to Intercom as a data connector. Install Zapier from the Data Connectors settings and paste the Zapier connect URL.

Connect Zapier MCP to Intercom

Open Data Connectors

In Intercom, go to Settings → Integrations → Data Connectors.

Install Zapier

Find Zapier, click Install, and paste the URL below:
When prompted, authenticate with your Zapier account.

Finish setup

In Intercom, start a new chat and ask:

Verify the connection

Ask Intercom:
Intercom should list the Zapier MCP tools. If tools do not appear, check Troubleshooting.

Try it out

After setup, ask Intercom to do something with your connected apps:
  • “Find my last 5 emails and summarize them”
  • “What meetings do I have tomorrow?”
  • “Create a task in [app] to follow up with [name]”
  • “Send a Slack message to [channel] about [topic]“
